Inspired by the American luminism art movement of the 18-century which features washes of warm light bathing over the landscape, Wall Island II is part of Peter's large scale colour series of limited edition photographs of Ontario and the Georgian Bay. The series explores on the impact of colour on the heart and mind of the viewer and employs Peter's traditional design aesthetics of empty space and simplicity. An edition of Wall Island II hangs in the lobby of Rawley Resort, Port Severn. The print is made on Hahnemühle fine art paper, protected by matte laminate for a modern bare-print look, and is framed by Toronto Image Works in a beautiful grey reveal frame.
