This original watercolour painting was inspired by a frog on our island. I did a small painting of him for the children's book I am working on and then decided to do a much bigger poster size painting for fun. I especially enjoyed working on all the various colours on his skin. They have really wonderful camouflage and as I worked on the painting I kept getting a feeling of his personality.
