Summer Playlist 2023 Series. Summer alternates between blue and grey skies – this painting was painted en plein air on a day where the skies were grey and I had to bundle up a bit – Georgian Bay is beautiful and a gift no matter what the weather. Gordon Lightfoot had recently passed away and many of his songs were running through my head as I was painting this.
