Quilts are filled with memories, passed down from generation to generation and providing comfort in a world where we might feel unhinged. These vintage quilt pieces are further upcycled from a friend who upcyles them to make clothing. She donated her scraps to me, fibre that would otherwise be in a landfill. These scraps are repurposed here like a page in a familiar childhood story book. ‘Cottagey’ and familiar with a contemporary twist.
