Ojibway Club Art Show

The Zephyrus Caress

Additional Information

This piece is my most recent turning made with wood and epoxy. (Completed on July 12, 2023.) It represents many of the lessons I have learned and by extension some innovative new ideas. It also approaches the image that I saw in my mind when when I started working with epoxy centered pieces. I like working with curly maple like the wood in this platter as, for me, it represents the wind. Hence the reference to Zephyrus who is the Greek god of the west wind.
