Western View is a watercolour painting painted on the outer islands of Pointe au Baril. The deep colour and texture of the rocks with the purple shadows is what attracted me to this specific spot! I also really like how you feel like you are hiding in the trees and peaking out, in expectation of what is going to happen next.
This painting can be framed in a tradional way with white mat and glass. I t can also be framed without glass. I wax the painting to protect it from water and light, then it is adhered to a board and set in a floating frame. Your choice!
