Cloud Burst is a watercolour painting painted on a fall canoe trip in Georgian Bay. I am so used to painting "blue and green" Georgian Bay paintings, so for me, the burst of colour in the fall was such a treat! But it was the swoop of the clouds that caught my eye. The swoop and movement of the clouds was what I really wanted to paint.
This painting can be framed in a tradional way with white mat and glass. I t can also be framed without glass. I wax the painting to protect it from water and light, then it is adhered to a board and set in a floating frame. Your choice!
