The summer home of Canadian artist/icon Doris McCarthy has proven to be an endless source of inspiration for me. Just up from Kilbear Provincial Park, mood I shooting for was that of a warm, summer day when the bay is calm, quiet and serene.
I have framed this painting with a simple shadowbox style frame finished in a bleached out warm tone that mimics the rock of the artwork.
