Pruning & Growth

Additional Information

Last year I began to paint trees more frequently. I've been noticing them more as they speak to me about life. When I painted this piece it was at the start of this new season of painting trees. I call it Pruning and Growth because there are areas in my life that need pruned and when that happens I can move forward in maturity. So like all of my paintings, there is more meaning to them other than a painting of a landscape.

Acrylic and oil on wood tondo panel.
