This iconic tree is undoubtedly the most photographed and painted tree in Ontario. Literally thousands of people have visited this famous tree each year in Killbear Provincial Park, jus north of Parry Sound. It is the backdrop of countless family photos. Sadly, a huge metal crutch is holding up the live limb in an attempt to preserve it a little bit longer. The circle of life continues.
Please visit my gallery and studio in Midland, where you will see me painting each day.
I’m open Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00-4:00, all year long.
