Georgian Bay Forever

Additional Information

Framed in a black floating frame.

This is a painting done on an exposed birch panel. I did the painting with acrylic marker, so each square inch of the painting would have up to 30 or more strokes to create the finished colour since blending is not possible with marker. I like leaving the woodgrain exposed as it adds a new element or layer to the image. The woodgrain is beautiful, so why hide it? Over time the woodgrain will mellow, and will look rich in colour.
My commercial gallery is located on the Main Street of Midland, where you can view my artwork 5 days a week. Open 11:00-4:00 Tuesday-Saturday. Would love for you to visit. Most likely you will catch me painting!
