The lighthouse piece I boated around the island and photographed the decaying lighthouse. Not only is the lighthouse decaying but the island its self is dying. The cormerants have detroyed much of the vegetation and over populated the island during breeding season. In the painting I tried to show the state of the island with the stick like trees and the shading on the lighthouse its self. The piece is in a black box frame.
