Cedar Lake Narrows

Additional Information

I had been camping at Point Grondine First Nation for a few days on Cedar Lake. I decided to head south to see if I caould find some ancient pictographs on the rocks near Collins Inlet. Leaving my site, I paddled slowly down the lake as it narrowed. I came upon this view, with colourful granite and a wonderful overhanging tree. Perfect for painting up. Never did find the pictographs, perhaps next time. Unframed, but suitable to hang without. Oil on gallery canvas.
