Shelagh lives on the shores of Georgian Bay where she owns and operates the Shelagh Fox Gallery in Thornbury Ontario. Interestingly, she comes from a history of famous athletes, both her grandfathers being hockey legends – Red Horner, captain of the Maple Leafs and Hugh Fox, captain of the Olympic hockey team that won the gold medal in 1924. Shelagh herself skied for the Ontario ski team for many years and after a successful ski career decided to pursue her passion in art. Throughout her life Shelagh has been an advocate for humanity independently funding the building of two schools In Zimbabwe Africa. Shelagh continues to spread her light and love.
