The 2021 Ojibway Club Art Show is a re-imagination of the much-anticipated annual art show that has been hosted at the Ojibway Club for almost 60 years.
For those joining us from afar, the Ojibway Club is a summer community hub located on the shores of Georgian Bay near the village of Pointe au Baril, Ontario, Canada.
In a rapidly shifting world, we are looking for ways to reconnect with one another. Art has the wonderful ability to bring us together and inspire conversations. In its capacity to tell stories and build bridges, it encourages us to see others’ perspectives and asks that we reflect on our own experiences in a purposeful way. Art can ignite our imagination and bring joy.
Sincere thanks to all the artists who have shared their unique talents and visions with us and chosen to support our Club.
Many thanks to my team of Kirsten Cooke, Mimi Crawford, Kim Darlington, Trudy Irvine, Leanne Mackle, Kara McIntosh, Wendy Massie, and Vicki Tremayne for their support. I am especially grateful to David Barrett, without whom this show would not exist, for his guidance, generosity, and enthusiasm at every step.
Enjoy the show!
